Senior Acquisitions Editor

Roseanna M. White is a wife, mommy, writer, reviewer, and lover of all things literature-related. She and her husband founded the Christian Review of Books in 2004, and she is the editor and senior reviewer of that organization, which has gained international renown since its creation. She and her family make their home in the picturesque mountains of Western Maryland, where she divides her time between writing, editing, home school, and chasing the dust bunnies back under the couch where they belong.

Roseanna loves little more than reading a book where the author's passion for his or her subject comes shining through. A die-hard fan of romance, she welcomes all submissions in that genre, but also loves books that deviate from the definitions of her beloved genre and leave her guessing as to who the true love might be, or shows an unexpected facet of love. She adores exotic settings, rich historical backdrops, and contemporaries that plunge her deep into the heart of the characters. And if it provides a glimpse into the spiritual, so much the better!

And always, good writing and fresh ideas reign supreme in her mind. Blame it on her academic career at St. John's College, where she read the Great Books of Western civilization.

Dina Sleiman earned an MA in Professional Writing from Regent University in 1994 and continued her education with creative writing and literature classes through Old Dominion University's MFA program. She has taught college literature and writing and is published in poetry, songwriting, and scriptwriting. Her first novel, Dance of the Dandelion, will release in 2011.

What would Dina like to see in a book? Something that will make her weep at the beauty of the words and stab her in the gut with its spiritual depth. Add in a dash of humor or romance, and she'll dance in the streets for you. Her favorite genres are historical, Biblical, romance, women's fiction, literary fiction, and creative non-fiction. But she also has a secret love for fantasy and sci-fi and enjoys supernatural elements in any genre. Some of Dina's favorite authors include: Lisa Samson, Tosca Lee, Julie Klassen, Karen Hancock, and WhiteFire's own Roseanna White. In creative non-fiction she would love to see memoirs in the style of Anne Lamott, Steven James, and Donald Miller.
